Salvation is Confession

Salvation is Confession with your mouth. The Bible says "That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10

Something powerful happens when your mouth speaks the conviction and assurance of your heart. It is a public declaration of what has taken place inside you.

If you have just given your life to Jesus and have not told anybody yet, find someone right now, and tell him or her what Christ has done for you.

When you obey something that God has told you to do, tremendous joy is a result. I am not talking about getting into a religious discussion; rather, tell someone that Jesus has become the Savior and Lord of your life, and that you have decided to follow Him.

When you do this, some people may want to compare one religion with another. Don't be sidetracked.

Stay on the topic of your confession, which is the person of Jesus Christ. Talk about what He means to you, and what He has done for you.
