Make Holy Spirit Your Helper
Make Holy Spirit Your Helper. When Jesus walked on the earth with His disciples, He made an amazing statement: "Nevertheless I tell you the truth.
It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you." That Helper is the Holy Spirit.
When you receive Christ, the Holy Spirit comes into your life. The Holy Spirit is a person.
At times He will speak as a "small inner voice" that brings encouragement, strength, or correction.
Always be sensitive to this. When you are quiet in prayer, God often wants to speak to you. Whatever He says in your heart will always agree with the Bible.
In the Book of Acts you read how one hundred and twenty people were baptized in the Holy Spirit:
"When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting."
