Call the Elders
Call the Elders to lay hands. James
5:14,15 says, "Is any sick among you? let him call
for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him
with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save
the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he has committed
sins, they shall be forgiven him."
Have you noticed that every time
God deals with sickness and disease, He deals with sin as well? In this
passage of Scripture, God instructs the elders of the church to anoint
the sick with oil, then He declares that the prayer of faith shall save
them.
But that's not the end. The Word
says their sins will be forgiven. Are you sick? Do you need God's
forgiveness? Have you called for the elders of the church? Extend your
faith and expect to be raised up from your infirmity.
