By His Stripes You Were Healed
By His Stripes You were Healed.
Don't
let the
devil tell you otherwise. It is God's sincere desire to see all
His people well.
Jesus bore all of our infirmities so
that we could live a life free from sickness and disease. Therefore, I
can think of no greater testimony than to tell someone that by the
power of God I have been healed.Jesus, the Great Physician, has never
lost a patient.
Psalm 103:1-6 Bless the Lord, 0 my
soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, o
my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine
iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Who redeemeth thy life from
destruction; who crowneth thee with loving-kindness and tender mercies;
Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed
like the eagle's. The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all
that are oppressed.
In this passage of Scripture, David
is speaking to his soul. He commanded it to " ... bless the Lord."
Commanding your soul to bless the Lord at all times is vital for your
deliverance.
Why is this so important? The answer
is two-fold: first, because it is God's command (psalm 66:8,9), and
second, because your soul-your mind, will, and emotions-will always
take the path of least resistance until it has been trained to bless
the Lord (Romans 12:2).
Your soul will naturally go in the
opposite direction of the Word of God. For example, if the Bible says,
"By His Stripes, You were healed," your mind will say, "I'm sick." If
the Word says, "You are delivered," your emotions will say, "I'll never
be free." If the Word says, "You have a covenant promise of
prosperity," your will will say, "I want to be poor to get closer to
God."
Child of God, your soul will never,
of its own accord, agree with the Word of God. It is imperative that
you recall what God has done for you in order to obtain your covenant
promise of healing.
Remind yourself of His covenant
promises in every situation. By His Stripes you are healed. Bless the
Lord by remembering the provisions He has made for you through the
Anointed One and His Anointing, Jesus!
