Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a powerful experience that caused the early Christians to begin to operate in a new dimension of power.

Just as the Holy Spirit had come upon Jesus during His earthly life, so the Holy Spirit had come upon them.

They went out laying hands on the sick and saw them recover. They cast demons out of people. They experienced guidance and direction from the Holy Spirit.

This baptism in the Holy Spirit is like a gateway to the supernatural life. When you speak in tongues, you speak a language you have never studied.

You don't speak by the human mind; you speak words that come from your spirit, words that are inspired by the Holy Spirit.
